Tuarhrava

or the Wild Wood in the Common Tongue

Included on this page is information that might be known by a native woodlander. You can of course play a character that is unaware of some of the aspects of the Wild Wood, or has been fed misinformation, but that is up to you to decide based on how you want to write your character.

Geo-Politics

For all intents and purposes the roles listed below do not actual exist as player roles or faction leads. They are designed so that during your roleplay you understand the structure of the Embassy. Many of these roles exist as NPCs and will never be allocated to players on the sim.

This, as with all of the lore associated with the sim, was written by and for the sim owners to deepen their roleplay. If you choose to ignore this lore but still use the sim, we don’t mind but we would probably act confused, or consider you addled, if we interacted with you.

All who live in the Wild Wood come under the Embassy’s protection and governance. The leadership roles of the Embassy are as follows.

Guardian of the Wild Wood (Lead)

The Sentinel of the Wild Wood (2IC)

The Council headed by the Guardian made up of

  • The Sentinel (Deputy to the Guardian)

  • The Keeper (Scribe – holder of Lore)

  • The Speaker (Spiritual Leader)

  • The Watcher (Military Leader)

  • Dwarven Representative (Chosen by the Dwarven High Council)

  • Human Representative (Chosen by the Port Jaul High Council)

The Woodlanders

Woodlanders are a mixed bunch. The vary from the haughty and ethereal elves to the humble halflings. But the one thing they share is a love of nature and growing things. Occasionally mischievous, and sometimes, downright dark, the woodlanders should not be mistaken for benevolent nature spirits. The woods are called wild, or savage for a reason. Nature can be fruitful and gracious, but she can also be cruel. Woodlanders too share this dichotomy.

Races that might live in the woods include but are not restricted to:

Elves and Half Elves

Halflings

Gnomes

Pixies

Fairies

Dryads

Fauns and Satyrs

The races that are hyperlinked are available as playable races in the DnD Player's Handbook. Obviously there are myriad other races in the Extended Materials but they have not been identified here.
