Languages
Although almost every race has a native tongue, all speak the common tongue, being English. If you are going too use another language, real or imagined, please include a translation in double brackets within your post so that there can be no mistaking your meaning.
Dwarvish
In Telacia all Dwarves speak Dwarvish but it is a secret language that they use only amongst themselves. It sounds something like old Norse and many dwarves have a broad accent that sounds a bit like a mix between French Quebeccer and Norweign.
Elvish
All elves in Telacia speak Sindarin. If you are choosing to write in this language in your RP, please include a translation in double brackets to ensure that your meaning is understood.
Sylvan
The fae have long had a language all of their own, and although they will speak the common tongue to most, they prefer to use their native language amongst themselves - knowing it to be superior to any other language. To our ears it would sound a little like French.
Gnomish
Gnomes natively speak a version of the common tongue that sounds a little like Welsh.
Orc
Orc is a harsh, grating language with hard consonants. It has no script of its own but is written in the Dwarvish script. It sounds something like Mongolian.
