This sim is based on DnD. The lore, characters, races, classes and systems have all been based on the Player’s Handbook which you can access on DnD and Beyond. We have included some information regarding our own flavouring on the various pages of the website.

To give some guidelines for RP we are using, for the most part, DnD races and classes. These should be displayed on your titler. We encourage you to use the free Anomalous RP Address RP Tool and Titler. Most of us use the following pattern in our titler:

On this sim we have seven races to choose from, but if you want to be a shifter we are not going to stop you. Generally the lore is focussed around the DnD races which are:

Elves, Smallfolk, Humans, Dwarves, Tieflings (Goblinoids and Fae). But we are happy for you to play any other playable race in DnD extended content. And there are masses. Trust me, if you want to play it, its in there. We will be adding to the race pages as we feel there is a need or requests for them.

But you might hear mention of pixies, elementals, dragons, wraiths, vampires, and others depending on what story we are telling at the time. You are more than welcome to choose to RP one of these characters. We are not going to stop you from playing your favourite race. If you want to be a mermaid, go for it! We do ask however that you create a character in fitting with the medieval fantasy nature of the sim.

The only thing we ask is that you make sure that your character is the same power level as the rest of the characters on the sim. This is why we shy away from characters types like dragons as they are too powerful. Also, the lore of the world has been created with the species listed here. If you want to play another DnD race that's fine, but the lore won't exist for that creature.
